Marge Simpson berciuman dengan sesama perempuan dalam salah satu adegan The Simpsons. Ini bukan adegan lesbian pertama dalam serial kartun dengan masa tayang terpanjang. Sebelumnya kakak Marge, Patty coming out sebagai lesbian. Tapi kali ini Marge bukan melakukannya karena dia lesbian, tapi karena adegan ciuman ini merupakan fantasi Homer Simpson, sang suami. Adegan ini sendiri dikritik banyak kalangan karena dianggap "membenarkan" fantasi lelaki yang suka membayangkan dua perempuan bersama.

The Simpsons is on track to be the longest running TV show of all time – and to keep it fresh, producers have thrown in a bit of zing with the normally conservative Marge engaged in a steamy lesbian kiss.
The episode screened last night in the US, and showed an unusually racy side to the normally tame family comedy.
The saucy scene showed Marge lip-locked with one of her friends for a lingering pash, as Homer looks on longingly.
But for those wondering if Marge’s sexual orientation might have taken a 180 degree turn, you’ll be disappointed – the entire scenario was a fantasy constructed in the mind of Homer.
However, it wasn’t the first time the show touched on homosexuality. Marge’s older sister Patty famously came out of the closet, and was even engaged to a female golfer, Veronica.
